Coronation Street‘s Nick Tilsley and Toyah Battersby risk getting discovered by Leanne

in next week’s scenes.

Nick and Leanne were engaged, but a rift formed after Leanne started to give all her time

to The Institute. After falling out of love with Leanne, Nick had an affair with her sister Toyah and he and Leanne eventually broke up.

After the affair was discovered Nick and Toyah decided not pursue the relationship due to the drama it would cause, but they couldn’t resist each other and so continued to see each other in secret so as to not upset Leanne.

In scenes set to air over the coming days, it looks like the two are set to get caught out already, as the have a steamy romp in the Bistro office. As they hear Leanne, they try and get dressed quickly, but will she see them?

Nick actor Ben Price recently spoke about his character’s headspace when he and Toyah decided to carry on in secret, and Nick’s decision to hire Toyah to work in the Bistro alongside himself and Leanne.

“Toyah points out how awkward it’s going to be but I don’t think Nick’s that great at that stuff… He’s good at compartmentalising his feelings…,” Price said.

“With this, I decided when I was playing it, no, he’s done. Leanne did things that couldn’t be taken back, she doesn’t hold back with Nick and now he’s decided, ‘I’m just going to say it how it is; I’m going to say how I really feel.'”
