Coronation Street‘s Daisy Midgeley will face a big decision next week after she finally reveals the truth about who her baby’s father is.

After she discovered that she was pregnant at Christmas, Daisy was unsure about whether her child’s dad is her new romantic interest Kit Green or her ex-fiancé Daniel Osbourne, who she slept with again after he briefly split from Bethany Platt.

Although Daisy now knows who her baby’s father is after she read the DNA test results, she decided to destroy the results afterwards and keep the news a secret.

This choice begins to haunt her this week, as both Daniel and Kit put pressure on Daisy to chase the results of the DNA test, which she claims haven’t come through yet.

In new scenes that will air next week, Daisy breaks the news to her stepmum Jenny Connor that she has been offered a new job as an au pair in Paris. What will Jenny think about Daisy’s potential move?

Later on, Daisy has a second bombshell to share as she reveals who her baby’s father is at last. Will Daniel or Kit be revealed as the dad, and what could it mean for Daisy’s future?

As the week goes on, Daisy attends her 12 week scan at the hospital. However, as the sonographer shows Daisy her baby on the monitor, Daisy becomes overwhelmed and runs out of the room.

Will Daisy be able to turn to anyone for support, or will she continue to struggle alone?

Whatever the outcome, Daisy is due to leave the cobbles behind in the coming months as actor Charlotte Jordan has confirmed that she is leaving her role “to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities”.
