Coronation Street lines up another emotional week for the residents of the cobbles, as confirmed in my new video clips, with sad news on the horizon plus a shocking attack.

Word of Les Battersby’s death reaches Weatherfield and it’s safe to say that emotions run high, with Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) struggling to process the news.

But that’s not all that’s on his plate as he struggles to make ends meet, desperately looking for employment.

Carla Connor (Alison King), meanwhile, has a conversation with DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) following their recent passion and, afterwards, she heads to the factory, where she is attacked.

And Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) makes an unsettling discovery, demanding answers from Nick Tilsley (Ben Price).

Monday November 25

Following a conversation with Lisa, Carla heads back to the factory and to her horror the whole place is a mess, having been turned over by two thugs.

Unaware of the impending danger, Carla takes a look around the premises to survey the damage, when one of the youths strike her on the back of the head, causing her to fall to the floor, where she lies unconscious.

Wednesday November 27

Sam is doing his homework at the bistro when he encounters an issue with the browser, which requires an update – but he can’t initiate the process without the admin password.

Leanne doesn’t know the password but she knows how to obtain it, accessing Nick’s email, where she finds a hotel booking for a holiday to Tenerife.

Nick enters the office unaware of what’s to come as Leanne proceeds to quiz him about the situation, as Sam watches on.

Friday November 27

Cheney returns home to reveal that he’s not having much luck on the job front as he confides in Bernie about how much he’s struggling. What’s more, he’s just learned that Les Battersby has died and as he shares the news with Bernie, he fights tears
