Coronation Street spoilers finally confirm Carla and Lisa’s romance to go public after going to and fro for the millionth time. Earlier this week, we saw our girls enjoying a spa date together, where

Debbie teased them as friends. But when Carla didn’t correct her – Lisa was hurt and again confused about their relationship status. However, Carla assured her of their relationship and urged her

to keep a low-down until they were ready to make it public. But it seems like, finally, the writers heard us!

Thanks to Lisa’s Jealousy 

When Carla went off to meet with a client at the Bistro the next day, Lisa followed her. And when she sees the handsome client flirting with Carla, she gets jealous. Later, she confronts her and says that she’s still in denial about her sexuality. However, we see Carla denying it, and the next thing she says proves Lisa right. Carla replied that she didn’t want people to gossip about them.

Later, when Lisa pointed out that it was the public prejudice she was succumbing to, Carla decided not to hide their relationship anymore. And the opportunity to do that couldn’t come sooner as Kirk, Bobby, and Fiz drop in unannounced. That’s when Lisa came out in a dressing gown. Bobby soon realized his mistake and asked Fiz and Kirk to meet at the Bistro instead.

Sally Watches Carla & Lisa

Carla came out of the bedroom wrapped in a sheet as soon as they left, trying to figure out if they had any hunch. Later, Sally’s phone call interrupts the pair, and she asks them to collect a drunk Betsy. Once they got Betsy from Sally’s sofa, Carla noticed that Sally was pretending hard to ignore them. Though Carla knew Sally couldn’t hold on to the gossip, she leaned in to kiss Lisa in front of her. Sally remains stunned seeing this.

Soon, we see Sally going into the Bistro to find Bobby, Kirk, and Fizz and reveal the kiss. She didn’t even shy away from sarcastically mentioning that she was now the mother of a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Fiz even pointed out how they saw Lisa in a dressing gown. However, Bobby confirmed that he had known about this for weeks. Kirk soon chimed in and revealed that he had an “inkling” about how Carla looked at Lisa – it’s the same as how he and his ex-partner looked at each other.
