Coronation Street‘s Matty Radcliffe and Dylan Wilson are both arrested over Mason’s tragic death in upcoming scenes.
The Weatherfield police swoop in to ensure that justice is served after Mason lost his life in a brutal attack.
Mason was targeted by his brothers Matty and Logan, who were seeking revenge after he’d helped the police to gather evidence against them.
Dylan pulled out a knife to scare off Mason’s dangerous siblings, but they grabbed the weapon and Mason was stabbed in the chaos that followed.
Nextweek, Dylan’s dad Sean Tully discovers the latest update in the disturbing case.
Sean explains that Matty has been arrested and there’s strong evidence against him, as the police have secured CCTV footage showing him disposing of the knife.
Viewers see Matty being held on remand as he ends up in the same prison as Rob Donovan, who’s returning to the show.
When Rob’s son Bobby Crawford goes to see him at the jail, Matty causes chaos in the visiting room by pulling out a knife.
Matty threatens one of the prison guards, leaving Bobby terrified as he finds himself in the middle of a hostage situation.
Meanwhile, Logan, who’s still a free man, continues to lurk around the Weatherfield area and watches the residents mourning for Mason. Does he still pose a threat?
Later in the week, Dylan is summoned to the police station over his role in what happened.
DC Kit Green informs Dylan that he’ll be charged with possession of a bladed article, leaving him terrified over the implications for his future.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, January 13 and Wednesday, January 15 on ITV1 and ITVX.
