I didn’t realize how weird and embarrassing it was to admit, but my life was just wrapped up in what Kody needed, what he wanted, and what the family needed and wanted. I was probably more fixated on that man than… okay.
Even when he wasn’t there, I’d be thinking, “Whenever he gets here, we’re going to do this and this and this,” because he didn’t just insert into my life — he didn’t just do whatever we were doing. We had to change what we were doing.

I know some of you are hesitant because you’re not sure how honest she’ll be or whether anything new will be revealed. But I think Christine is probably the most honest — at least out of all of them — about what’s happened behind the scenes and the most willing to call out Kody and Robyn.

Now that the book’s coming and all the publicity around it is ramping up, Kody and Robyn have a lot to worry about. But even more so now, because Kody has officially been ordered to pay child support.

Last month, we talked about how Christine and Kody reached a custody agreement after mediation. Christine filed for custody, paternity, parenting time, and child support back in September 2024. Kody retaliated by filing a counterclaim.
The court later sealed the records, so we haven’t known much — but as of yesterday, a judge formally placed the child support order in Utah.

That means paternity is officially established, a parenting time agreement is in place, and child support has been determined. I wish I knew how much he’s paying her — I really do — because I’m guessing Kody and Robyn live paycheck to paycheck.

Robyn loves buying dolls, and Kody loves buying $200,000 cars, $2 million homes, trailers, tractors, dirt bikes, and ATVs. So knowing how much he spends, he’s definitely not going to want to pay child support.

In the last part of the season and even at the Tell-All, Kody’s unwillingness to discuss his responsibilities toward his children was telling.
Christine made it clear she’s always paid for everything herself, and Kody only mentioned buying “cars” or “paying for some college tuition.” Yes, Kody — $2,000 cars — great support, right?

Back in January, KUTV (a local Salt Lake City outlet) cited a study showing that Utah parents spend around $18,800 per year to raise one child, or $34,000 for two children. It’s much cheaper than other states, but still, raising a child from birth to 18 costs over $338,000 in Utah.

Utah has a standard child support calculation. If Christine has more than 51% custody (which she likely does), then Kody must pay.
And given his assets, reality TV income, and expensive lifestyle, he’s probably paying more than $1,000 a month.

Christine may also have the right to claim back support — up to three or four years’ worth — once paternity is established. She could have even asked for repayment of Truely’s medical expenses, and Isabelle’s scoliosis surgery, which Kody never paid a dime for.

Utah enforces support strictly. They can garnish wages, pull payments from bank accounts, and even place liens or file criminal non-support charges if someone falls behind.

We’ve seen this before — remember Kevin Franke (ex-husband of Ruby Franke)? He owed nearly $10,000 in child support at one point. Utah courts will step in when that happens.

If Kody’s smart, he’ll pay. But let’s be real — he doesn’t like to follow rules.
He once threatened Christine that if she ever went for child support, he’d “take all her money.”

So this? This is Christine’s revenge. And honestly, good for her.

Interestingly, Kody was just seen at an airport in Texas looking angry and alone — no Robyn in sight. People are now speculating whether his marriage with Robyn is in trouble, especially since she claims she still wants polygamy and he says he’s done with it.

I don’t think they’ll split — not unless the money runs out. Robyn seems more interested in her lifestyle than the relationship.
But for now, the child support is legally ordered, and Truely is thriving with Christine and her new stepfather David, who’s stepped up and been a real parent figure to her.

Christine’s book, Christine Brown Woolley: A Memoir, comes out September 2. The synopsis promises a powerful and personal story of leaving the only life she knew — polygamy — and forging a new future.

Lastly, Meri Brown recently commented on Christine still mentioning Kody in her new relationship. Meri said she doesn’t understand why Christine compares her past to her current relationship. But let’s be real — that’s healing. It’s normal to process trauma with someone who loves you.
