FORMER Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley
would consider returning to the soap.
The 41-year-old actress played Eva Price for seven years until departing the ITV show in 2017.
She has gone on to star in sitcom Scarborough and Channel 5’s The Good Ship Murder.
But she told Prima magazine she was not ruling out a soap return.
Catherine said: “They’ve asked me to go back a couple of times over the years, and it just so happened that I was busy with other projects.
“But if they approached me with an amazing storyline and the time was right, of course I’d go back. So it’s always a case of never say never.”
It comes as Ross Kemp yesterday confirmed he was coming back to EastEnders as Grant Mitchell to mark the BBC soap’s 40th anniversary.
Catherine is an English actress from Salford.
She attended the Birmingham School of Acting (formerly the Birmingham School of Speech & Drama) and graduated in 2005.
Catherine is most famous for playing Eva Price in Coronation Street.
She played the part for seven years from May 2011 to July 2018.
The talented star also sings in the range of mezzo-soprano and signed a record deal in June 2016.
