Coronation Street fans were in stitches as they noticed a “hilarious” detail hidden within the most recent episode of the ITV soap. Drama continued on the cobbles on Monday evening as Kevin’s big secret was finally exposed, while Abi and Carl jumped at the opportunity to get together behind his back.
Meanwhile, Dev and Bernie continued with their wedding planning ahead of the big day which is set to take place in the Bistro next week. But during the episode, fans couldn’t help but notice a “hidden” photograph of Bernie in the living room at number seven.
The photograph, which was placed alongside Dev’s ex-wife Sunita, sees Bernie like we’ve never seen her before. The photo shows the actress in full glam make-up with her hair curled, posing in a fur coat with pearls draped around her neck.
Coronation Street took to Instagram to joke about the hidden detail during the episode. The post read: “It’s all in the details! Huge shout out to our Design and Photography pros for always nailing the little things that make our sets pop. Special mention to Jane – looking absolutely brilliant Did you spot the new pics in the Alahan house?”
Taking to the comments, one soap fan wrote: “I was like is that Bernie?? She looks beautiful and hilarious at the same time.” A second added: “I thought I spotted a glamour shot on the wall but couldn’t be sure.”
More added to the conversation on social media after finding the hidden surprise rather amusing. One said: “Lol I did spot it last night and chuckle ( in a good way ) x.
Another wrote: “Just to say… I noticed this last night myself and rewound and paused it just to make sure I had seen it right! Brilliant.” Another fan said: “Love Bernie’s character, Jane is just brilliant!”
Sally Carmen, who potrays Abi Webster on the soap, said: “This is magnificent.” Sue Devaney, who plays Debbie Webster, added to the comments to show her support, she wrote: “Oooooh she’s a sexy hot stunner is our Bernie! This is beautiful! Just like you! xxxx.”
Jane Hazlegrove also chipped in to say thank you to the design team at Coronation Street. She said: “Brilliant idea from our designer team and fabulous photos from our resident @daniellebaguley. It’s was a hoot and I hope folk find them as hilarious as I do? @coronationstreet.”

At the start of the week, Coronation Street spoilers have confirmed that Bernie has a low key hen do in the Bistro after saving some money by buying cheap suits for Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) and Aadi (Adam Hussain). Meanwhile, Dev’s stag do kicks off at the Rovers when a pole dancer arrives. A furious Bernie storms into the Rovers to find the stags cheering on the pole dancer.
Later in the week, the ceremony kicks off at the Bistro. With the service about to start, Dev and Bernie share loving looks, but suddenly Bernie struggles to breathe and collapses in front of a shocked Dev. Is the dramatic day about to end in tragedy or will Bernie and Dev manage to tie the knot?
