Oh, Jeff. He was never one to keep his scrubs tied, was he?. So Liz got a surprise half sister in Hayden Barnes in 2015 courtesy of his long-ago affair with Naomi Dreyfus. Ironically, Hayden fell for Hamilton Finn, who years later would become — that’s right — Liz’s boyfriend.

Anyone who lives in Port Charles for a while is going to get involved with its criminal underworld. In Liz’s case, that meant having relationships with Mafia flunkies Jason Morgan and Zander Smith, and tying the knot with godfather Sonny Corinthos’ half brother, Ric Lansing.

Liz’s firstborn is Cameron Webber, whose dad is the late Zander. And the golden boy is pretty much everything that a parent could hope for: sincere and sensitive, thoughtful and kind. Which, of course, makes him a magnet for heartache.

Liz’s doomed romance with Jason added to her family portraits son Jake, who, taking a page from Dad’s playbook, was once believed to have been killed, only to resurface and announce that “rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.” Not in those exact words, mind you.

In 2010, Liz finally welcomed into the world a child with Lucky: sweet Aiden, whose love of baking and Princess Kalinda made him a target for schoolyard bullies. As homophobia wreaked havoc on his life, Lucky, like Jeff when Liz needed him most, simply wasn’t around.

Eh, never mind that Liz and Lucky split up ages ago. She still holds a special place in the heart of her former husband’s mom, Laura Collins. Truth be told, she and Audrey were probably more mothers to Liz than her actual mother ever was.

Franco’s passing might have effectively ended his marriage to Liz. (Death’ll do that, after all.) But in no way, shape or form did it lessen the affection that Franco’s father, Scotty Baldwin, has for Liz and the family his son was so happy to be a part of.

Liz’s boys have in Violet Finn arguably the most adorable cousin in the history of cousins. She’s the daughter of Liz’s MIA half sis Hayden and her ex — Liz’s current squeeze — Finn. Which should make things pretty interesting if and/or when Hayden returns to town.
