GEMMA Winter struggles to cope in the wake of twin brother Paul’s harrowing death in Coronation Street.
Paul’s family – and Corrie viewers – were left devastated last month when he finally succumbed to Motor Neurone Disease.

While Gemma and mum Bernie were by his hospital bedside as he passed, Paul’s husband Billy was tragically too late after losing his phone and getting stuck in traffic.
Gemma and Bernie decided not to tell Billy that Paul had already died when he said his goodbyes to him over the phone, and since his death there’s been growing tensions between Bernie and Billy.
Thankfully, they were able to eventually put those aside to send Paul off with music, fireworks and fun.
Meanwhile in upcoming Coronation Street scenes, Gemma tells Chesney she doesn’t want Joseph to go on the school skiing trip.

Realising she fears for his safety after losing Paul, Chesney reassures her.
However, a troubled Joseph tells Chesney he doesn’t want to go and cause her stress.
Will Chesney be able to reassure his wife enough to let his son go on the trip?
Later in the week, Jenny suggests to Chesney that Gemma might like to come back to work, but Chesney firmly insists that it’s too soon.
