Melissa Ordway Makes a Big Move

The Young and the Restless actress shared the exciting news with fans in a fun Instagram video. She treated her fans with a glimpse at their project, which is also a cozy hideaway for her daughters, Sophie and Olivia. “We bought a cabin up here in Hohenwald, TN, and we’re going to do a before-and-after,” Ordway announced.

However, before Melissa transforms this place into a fabulous cabin, she needs to give it a good scrub down. She revealed, “This place needs a lot of help. It’s very dirty.” In true Ordway fashion, she rolled up her sleeves and got to work. The clip shows her scrubbing the floors and giving us a tour of the kitchen, living room, and bedroom.

We think the whole place will look stunning once the Y&R star gets through with her magic touch! Now, let’s talk about the most adorable part. Sophie and Olivia were splashing around in a creek nearby, dressed in bright pink boots. But the adventure didn’t stop there. The couple decided to create a fire pit in the yard, WOW!

A perfect addition for those cozy nights under the Tennessee sky, isn’t it? Next, Ordway couldn’t help but poke a little fun at Justin, asking whether he knew what he was doing. After all, his time in the Boy Scouts didn’t last long! Fortunately, the fire pit was a success, and the family relished some crispy bacon and delicious s’mores by the fire.

Melissa admitted, “It needs a significant amount of work, but it’s so beautiful out here and so peaceful.” She highlighted the importance of hitting pause and relaxing in between working. Last year, the Gaston household moved into their custom-built home on the land they had purchased. This time, they’ve added this rustic cabin to their collection of dreamy retreats.
