ITV Emmerdale fans will finally see a glimpse of April in tonight’s episode following a dogged search to find the missing teen.
Marlon is suffering from nightmares about finding April d.e.a.d as he sleeps downstairs to keep an eye out for any more intruders following last week’s break-in. Throughout the episode, he appears to be on edge until finally it all boils over.
Marlon says a number of the comments online are saying April is d.e.a.d, and that Marlon and Rhona k.i.l.l.e.d her, following an article in a local paper about Rhona’s kidnapping case. When a number of people look uncomfortable, Mary says that April being dead is a possibility as she has not been seen for three weeks.
After these comments, Marlon explodes, accusing everyone of giving up on her despite continuing to search. He marches off leaving Mary in tears. Rhona leaves to comfort him and he says that he has also been thinking that April may be dead, as he opens up about his dream. He hugs Rhona and begins to calm down.
Just as Billy returns from putting up flyers in Leeds to continue the search, Marlon returns and Mary and him apologise, just to hear there has been a development in the case.
Panicking, Marlon awaits the news, thinking it may be revealed that April is d.e.a.d. Instead, Marlon and Rhona are show CCTV footage of April running as the episode ends, revealing she was still alive and was in central Leeds.
Elsewhere in the village, Joe continues to try to get close to Noah but comes face-to-face with Charity and Ross. The three argue with Noah in the middle.
Charity asks Ross to deal with Joe, in return for her putting in a good word about him with Noah. She agrees and Ross confronts Joe in his room. He threatens him, saying if he ever approaches Noah again, Ross will deal with him.
Meanwhile, Cain and Moira prepare for the beginning of Moira’s radiotherapy, as her kids surprise her with a present and Cain promises to stay by her side “no matter what”.
Anthony has also started tutoring Angelica in maths as the villagers remain unaware of his past s.e.x.u.a.l abuse of Ruby.
