BREAKING NEWS! Emmerdale’s Mack hatches a daring plan to save devastated Moira

A guilt-ridden Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) hatches a plan to save Moira Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) farm from destitution in Emmerdale next week.

Mack was held responsible after a slurry tank leaked over the farm, destroying much of her land and contaminating the village water supply.

In addition to the financial damage, this also left Mack culpable as little Harry Sugden was rushed into hospital, having drunk some of the contaminated water.

Mack wasn’t to know that scheming John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) was really responsible for the leak – rubbing his hands with glee as Mack’s family held him to account for all that had happened.

Feeling guilty as Moira fears for the future of her farm, Mack sets a dangerous plan into motion, hoping to brink the land back from the brink.

With Moira’s land destroyed and Harry on a drip in the hospital, guilt-ridden Mack is a pariah.

At the farm, Moira waits on the bill for the slurry clean-up. However, she’s pessimistic about the farm’s prospects. And, as the insurers refuse to cover for Mack’s apparent mistake, it seems as though she’s right.

As he breaks down in John’s arms – unaware that he was responsible for his recent misfortune – Mack decides to drop out of best man duties for Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).

As John sets a plan of his own into motion, Mack stumbles across a solution for his and the farm’s woes.

Seeing Ross Barton (Michael Parr) lurking about with the brother he never knew existed – estranged sibling Lewis (Bradley Riches) – Mack grows suspicious.

He soon learns that Ross and Lewis are hiding a secret: Lewis grows his own weed, and he’s been sharing with Ross.

Spotting the cannabis plants, Mack quickly senses a solution to paying the farm’s fines. However, he and Ross quickly realise that they don’t have enough plants to cover the shortfall, and cook up an alternative scheme.

What do Ross and Mack have planned?
