Emmerdale star Laura Norton has confirmed her involvement in next month’s huge stunt storyline.
The actor, who plays Kerry Wyatt, revealed that she has been busy filming some spectacular scenes for the ITV soap.
Show bosses recently announced plans for a “terrifying car crash” near a frozen lake, which will leave several lives hanging in the balance.
The plot involves a dramatic series of stunts, which were filmed by cast and crew on night shoots before Christmas.
Asked about Emmerdale‘s recent teasers over the storyline, Laura commented: “It’s been amazing! Yes, I am involved. It’s very, very exciting.
“I feel it’s one of the best experiences that I’ve had since I’ve joined the show, which is nearly 13 years ago. I can’t wait for people to see it.
“There’s been a lot of time spent on it. It’s been a big group effort with a lot of camaraderie and lots of highs and lows. I do think it’s going to be really, really incredible.
“If it’s anything like it felt when we were doing it, it’s going to be amazing.”
Show bosses have been keeping tight-lipped about the other characters who are involved in the dramatic scenes.

“The stunning backdrop of the village, from its rugged woodland to its wilder landscapes, set the perfect stage for what’s to come. I’m thrilled for our audience to experience these episodes as they unfold, taking them on a chilling – quite literally – and perilous journey across the frozen ice.”
