Emmerdale has appeared to reveal just how Ruby Fox-Miligan k.i.l.l.s her abusive dad, Anthony.
Ruby’s (Beth Cordingly) life was turned upside down last month when her estranged father Anthony (Nicholas Day) rocked up to the Dales. Anthony’s arrival came after her daughter Steph (Georgia Jay) showed up too.
As Anthony settled into the village, Ruby spiralled – clearly hiding something about her dad. In a bid to keep daughter Steph close to her though, Ruby has reluctantly agreed to let Anthony stay in their lives.
Steph hoped the Miligan-Fox family could reconcile and move forward, especially as Anthony has been diagnosed with cancer. But troubled Ruby even ended up cheating on Caleb (William Ash) with his half-brother Cain (Jeff Hordley).
Once dinner was done, the party headed to the pub to continue the festivities – except for Ruby and Anthony. Things took a sinister turn though, when Anthony touched Ruby’s shoulder.
A distressed Ruby then grabbed a kitchen knife and warned him to stay away from her – before Cain ended up walking in. Now, fans are certain the soap has dropped a ‘clue’ as to how Ruby could k.i.l.l Anthony.
On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “Ruby’s dad really inserting himself into everything. Wonder if he’ll get close to her and Ruby will stab him and she’ll seem vindictive?”
A second penned: “I wanted her to stab him!” A third mused: “Maybe she will. I just want him gone, it’s about time!” Echoing their thoughts, another person wrote: “I was thinking this. Only way I can see him leaving is by being killed.”
