Emmerdale‘s Will Taylor has shared an intriguing theory about the mystery villain who’s returning to the village this Christmas.
Show bosses have confirmed that a face from the past is coming back to Home Farm to take the ultimate revenge against Kim Tate.
Will started all the trouble by teaming up with Kim’s financial advisor Peter, wanting to bring Kim down once and for all.
Peter later revealed that he was in cahoots with a mystery third party who also has a grudge against Kim. Currently out of the country, this unknown person will make a surprise appearance at Christmas.
In Monday’s episode, Will was frustrated as Peter paid another visit to Home Farm to pile further pressure on him.
As always, Peter was keen to check that Will was still on board for the revenge scheme and that everything would go according to plan.
When Peter warned that his boss was getting “antsy”, an unimpressed Will replied: “Shall we just drop the cloak and dagger malarkey? I know damn well who the boss is. It’s Jamie Tate.
“It doesn’t take a lot of thinking about, does it? There’s only one other person who wants to bring Kim down as much as I do. That bitter and twisted son of hers.”
Peter refused to confirm or deny Will’s theory, but he continued to seek assurances that they were still on track for Christmas.
Acting on instructions from his co-conspirators, Will has arranged for him and Kim to renew their wedding vows at Home Farm on Christmas Day.
Kim was delighted over the seemingly romantic gesture, unaware that she was walking straight into a trap.
Kim’s son Jamie was last seen in the village in 2021 when Alexander Lincoln bowed out from the role after two years. Is he now coming back to the village, or does Will have the wrong idea?
