In Emmerdale Village, tension is mounting as someone seeks revenge against Caleb Milligan, prompting him to be on high alert. The prime suspect? Kim Tate. Over the past few years, Caleb has made quite a few enemies, and now, it seems, his past actions are catching up with him.

Kim moved into the B&B after a significant fallout with her family. Rose, the controlling ex-wife of her husband Will Taylor, has returned and is trying to rekindle their relationship. Her motives, however, are far from romantic. Rose spiked Will’s drink, but their daughter Dawn accidentally consumed it, leading to a car crash. Rose also orchestrated a scheme to extort money from Kim by sending a fake dealer to Home Farm. Kim, ever the shrewd operator, offered the dealer £2,000 to reveal his employer. When he refused, she increased the offer to £10,000, but the dealer declined again, hinting that the person behind the scheme had even more money.

Convinced that Caleb was the mastermind, Kim believed he was seeking revenge for her involvement in his father Frank Tate’s death. However, the real puppet master was Ruby, who had been manipulating Rose to put Kim in danger. Kim, unaware of Ruby’s deceit, confided in Lydia Dingle at the café, using it as a cover to conceal her surprise for Caleb.

In a dramatic turn of events, Caleb received a call from the police informing him that his vehicle company had burned down overnight. Shocked, he rushed to the scene and later confided in Ruby about how he had increased the insurance coverage before their trip to Bali. Little did he know, a police investigator overheard everything and remained unconvinced of his innocence.

Ruby tried to pin the blame on Kim, but Caleb was skeptical. He dismissed Ruby’s accusations and focused on his meal at the Woolpack, seemingly indifferent to the fire at his car shop. However, viewers were more intrigued by the massive chicken on his plate, questioning if he had ordered an entire bird for himself. Amid the chaos, Caleb seemed oddly preoccupied with his meal.

As tensions simmered, Ruby’s secrets began to unravel. She had been conspiring against Kim with Rose’s help, and now Kim was ready to strike back. Kim’s quest for revenge took a new turn when she discovered the truth about Ruby’s machinations. In a heated confrontation, Kim exposed Ruby’s deceit to Caleb, leaving Ruby to face the consequences of her actions.

Meanwhile, Will Taylor and Kim struggled to maintain their relationship. Will, tempted by Rose, found himself entangled in a web of lies. When Rose disappeared under mysterious circumstances, Kim and Will were left feeling guilty and suspicious of each other. Their daughter Dawn hired a private investigator to find Rose, complicating matters further.

Kim and Will concocted a plan to text Dawn from Rose’s phone to deter her search, but their scheme only added to the mounting tension. Caleb, now aware of Ruby’s betrayal, drove her to an unfamiliar location, leaving her to wonder what he had planned.

Back at Home Farm, Kim and Will’s trust in each other continued to erode. Kim confided in Lydia about her marital woes, while Will debated whether to confess his kiss with Rose. The truth about Rose’s intentions and the schemes against Kim hung in the balance, promising explosive revelations in the episodes to come.
