It’s official – Emmerdale‘s Kammy Hadiq looks set to get the blame for Vinny Dingle’s nasty injuries.
The worrying scenes play out in tonight’s episode, as Vinny’s fiancée Gabby Thomas realises that he’s been badly beaten.
With the scrap dealer struggling to be honest with anyone over his horrible ordeal with Mike, he decides to use Kammy as a convenient scapegoat.
This week’s episodes saw Vinny face a brutal attack from Mike after connecting with him online.
He’d confided in Mike about how he feels confused over his sexuality, believing that the stranger was going through a similar experience.
Mike’s true intentions became clear when he assaulted Vinny and demanded £10,000 in return for not telling Gabby about his doubts.
The next day, Gabby caught the tail-end of a separate confrontation between Vinny and his friend Kammy, which her fiancé had deliberately provoked.
This makes Kammy an easy fall guy, as Vinny needs to explain why his body is covered in nasty bruises…
Catching up with Kammy at The Hide later, Gabby confronts him over Vinny’s allegations and warns him to stay away.
“I’ve told him he needs to report it to the police,” Gabby warns. “Lucky for you, he’s not going to. He’s adamant on dropping it.
“You’re a vicious psycho. I don’t wanna see your face in here again.”
With Kammy now closely entangled with the Dingles, and interested in pursuing a relationship with Belle, a reputation for random acts of violence is the last thing he needs. Can he prove his innocence?
