Emmerdale airs a major turning point for Will Taylor next week as he desperately tries to pull the plug on his revenge plans.
A remorseful Will struggles with second thoughts after a frightening incident involving his wife Kim Tate.
Viewers know that Will is plotting against Kim with help from her financial advisor Peter – and a mysterious third party who’s currently out of the country.
They’ve arranged for Will and Kim to renew their wedding vows on Christmas Day, luring Kim into a cruel trap.
Next week, Will’s unease grows as Peter makes another unwelcome visit to Home Farm and piles further pressure on him over their plans.
Later, Kim decides to enjoy a Christmas Eve horse ride but there’s a worrying turn of events. The horse ends up wandering the Home Farm fields alone, with Kim nowhere to be seen.
Will spots this worrying sign and frantically goes looking for his wife. He’s terrified when he spots a seemingly-lifeless body in one of the nearby fields.
As Will rushes over and finds Kim unconscious, he calls 999 and is genuinely concerned for her. Any thoughts of revenge are long forgotten as Will desperately hopes that Kim will pull through.
Later, Will tries to stand up to Peter once again, vowing to back out of their scheme at the last minute. Peter still has other ideas, leaving Will with a big decision to make.
On Christmas Day, Will and Kim prepare for their vow renewal, but will it go according to plan? And who is the mystery figure who’s preparing to return to the village and cause chaos?
