EastEnders newcomer Josh Goodwin gets to know the Walford locals next week – and considers reuniting with his twin Jasmine Fisher after years spent apart! This week, Zoe Slater finally met her missing son, as Josh was introduced to both sides of his biological family.
Josh was keen to find out the truth about his estranged sister Jasmine and why she caused their dad Anthony’s death on Christmas Day. However, once he watched the footage on Jasmine’s recovered phone, he saw that she acted in self-defence and was relieved that his twin isn’t a “cold-blooded killer”.
But this week, Josh also formed a connection with Oscar, and the pair spent the night together – with each of them unaware of the other’s close connection to Jasmine. Once the truth was revealed to them, everything changed and Oscar and Josh were stunned!
Oscar visited Jasmine in prison and the former couple decided to give things another go ahead of her murder trial, with Oscar playing down his meeting with Josh and completely concealing their passionate encounter.
This romantic reunion meant that Oscar and Josh’s budding romance was cut tragically short. As Oscar told him the truth, it was clear that his heart was still with Jasmine. However, it was also clear that there was still a huge spark between Oscar and Josh…

Meanwhile, Zoe has been desperate to finally get to know her long-lost son after meeting him for the first time, but Josh feels overwhelmed by his mum – so next week he makes the choice to distance himself and spend time with his grandad Patrick instead.
