EastEnders has revealed Harry Mitchell’s desperate plan to protect Kojo Asare from the wrath of dangerous drug dealers.
Friendship comes first for Harry in Thursday’s episode, which is streaming early on BBC iPlayer today amid ongoing schedule changes for the Walford soap.
Harry and his mum Nicola fear the consequences when Kojo admits that he flushed Ravi Gulati’s secret drugs supply down the toilet at home.
The stash had been hidden in a car that Ravi was storing away from prying eyes at The Arches.

When Kojo found out, he didn’t want to be associated with illegal activity and took drastic action – believing that he was protecting Harry and Phil by getting rid of the drugs.
As Harry worries about the inevitable fallout in new scenes, he makes an impulsive decision to stage a break-in at The Arches. He hopes that Ravi and his dodgy contact Okie will believe the drugs were stolen by random criminals and look elsewhere for answers.
The scheming comes as Ravi goes all-out to give his teenage daughter Avani a lavish birthday party to remember after her difficult year, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Harry.
When Ravi and Okie later turn up at The Arches to collect the car, Harry shares the bad news of the alleged “break-in”. Unsurprisingly, both seem sceptical over his excuses…

Keen to keep Ravi sweet, Harry offers the club as a venue for Avani’s birthday free of charge.
Harry’s optimistic plan does little to save him, though, as Ravi soon warns: “You know this changes nothing. You either need to find my stash or pay me back. One or the other.”
We already know from next week’s spoilers that there are difficult times ahead for Harry, as Ravi puts pressure on him to do his dirty work. So, is Harry’s nightmare only just beginning?
EastEnders fans can see these scenes now on BBC iPlayer, or tomorrow at 7pm on BBC One.
