Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we’ve got some comings and goings news to share, so let’s

start with the return of a missing leading man. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) fell into a coma back in

July thanks to Connie Viniski’s (Julie Dove) twisted plot, but he’s finally set to awaken during the week

of September 9-13.

Despite Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Cherie Jimenez) emotional pleas for Rafe to come back to them, they haven’t had any success so far.

It looks like it may actually be Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) who gets Rafe to regain consciousness.

Days spoilers say Paulina will order Rafe to wake up immediately and get pretty forceful about it, so Rafe will open his eyes soon enough.

Rafe will have a lot to catch up on once he’s awake and alert, especially when it comes to Everett Lynch aka Robert “Bobby” Stein’s (Blake Berris) confession and demise.

If Rafe remembers hearing a woman’s voice around the time he got stabbed in the cemetery, that could raise doubts about whether this case should really be closed!

Whatever the case, it’ll be nice to see Rafe become part of the action again.

Rafe should resume his role as Salem’s police commissioner once he’s well enough to slide back into that spot.

In the meantime, Jada will realize Connie is keeping secrets after Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) catches her lying about not knowing Everett or Bobby.

Will Jada be able to rescue Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) or become Connie’s next hostage?

In other comings and goings news, Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) will pop back up and no doubt make another move on Tate Black (Leo Howard).

After Tate has another fight with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), Sophia will swoop in and most likely comfort him.

That could lead to more problems, but we should also mention a Days casting shakeup that’s in the works.

It’ll still be Madelyn Kientz playing Sophia during the week of September 9-13, but it seems a Sophia recast may appear down the road.

CDL reported on some behind-the-scenes Days cast leaks back in July – including the addition of Rachel Boyd.

We speculated that Boyd might be a Sophia recast, but now there’s more proof to bolster that idea.

Ashley Puzemis recently posted a little photoshoot with Boyd on her Instagram story, so there’s a good chance Boyd is indeed the new Sophia.
