It seems like Leanne has dug up scopes for both her heartbreak and revenge, according to the Coronation Street spoilers. We will be seeing more of Leanne and Nick in the upcoming episodes – but are her feelings real, or is this just the beginning of her revenge plot?

Leanne’s is Ready for the Revenge

It’s safe to say that Leanne’s fiery spirit is back – and she is determined to take revenge on Nick and Toyah. It’s confirmed – she will not be playing the fool anymore when she tells Tracy that she will act like a true Battersby now.

As the obvious first step of her revenge, Leanne finds Toyah’s passport and uploads the photo page on a website. Next, when she sees Nick busy with the Christmas lights, she makes her way to the solicitor’s office to read Les’ will.

But we were as surprised to see Nick comforting Leanne as Toyah was. Nevertheless, it was quite awkward for her.

Nick Hugs Leanne – What Does It Mean?

While the funeral is bringing the family together, the undercurrents in Leanne’s revenge plan are keeping the tensions high. Especially when Nick hugged Leanne at the wake—we all felt it—and so did Toyah.

At the Bistro, Leanne hears about Nick’s solo holiday plans as Sam can’t get time off school – and soon, Leanne puts her next plan into action. During her conversation with Mrs Crawshaw, she ensures Sam can join Nick for Christmas, so Toyah’s Christmas plans with Nick get interrupted.

Will Leanne’s Plan Work?

While Leanne is doing a commendable job on her revenge plot – it will be interesting to see if these can cause rifts between Nick and Toyah. Jane Danson said,

“It’s just the pits for her! She was over the first time to a point. Leanne knows that she did make some bad decisions, and although she didn’t agree with what Toyah and Nick did, she can understand why it might have happened. She loves Toyah so much that she is prepared to forgive her.

So, to find out that their affair is continuing – basically, she’s at the end of her rope. Toyah has kind of taken out her whole life from Leanne, and she resents that hugely. It’s great to play out! He’s playing with them both. She’s making Nick feel even more guilty and is almost trying to get a confession out of him. When she really makes a play for him, and he still doesn’t cave, she’s like, ‘Right, I’ll show you both!’”.

While the actress has shed quite some light on the storyline, it makes us wait even more eagerly for the upcoming Coronation Street spoilers. Will Nick and Toyah finally make it?
