Tension has been building at Forrester Creations for some time and we can tell you that what’s coming will blow the lid off that pressure cooker. It’s going to be

bedlam on Bold & Beautiful as two twists take place that will not only change everything at the fashion house, but which will put Brooke and Ridge’s relationship in jeopardy…

The week began with Eric, Ridge, and Steffy gathering to discuss Carter’s radical proposal to expand the company. Unsurprisingly, the trio circled their wagons around the family business, seemingly coming to the consensus that they weren’t willing to open themselves up to outside interference, not to mention take on a mountain of debt.

Across the hall, Brooke reeled in shock after nearly walking in on Carter having desk sex… with her daughter! Hope and Carter talked the concerned momster off the ledge and asked her to keep their burgeoning relationship a secret, “Especially from Ridge.” Brooke agreed, which right away didn’t bode well, particularly on the heels of Ridge keeping Taylor’s heart condition hidden from his lady love.

We left off with Steffy, who had just finished expressing suspicion that Hope was manipulating Carter, finding her COO sequestered with Hope and Brooke in the design office. Taking in their hushed expressions when she appeared, the CEO asked what they’d been discussing. If you got the feeling this situation might go sideways, your hunch was correct.

Moving into the rest of the week, Bold & Beautiful spoilers preview Hope committing the ultimate faux pas, which can only mean she manages to insult her boss. Probably not the best idea when you’ve already kissed her husband and your fashion line is hurting the company’s bottom line.

This will result in Steffy taking action in anger and making a “bold executive move” that will have a ripple effect throughout Forrester Creations. It’s safe to assume that this first big twist will see her finally take the axe to Hope For the Future. This would, of course, affect not only Hope, but Brooke, Zende, R.J., and now Carter as well.

Amid Brooke keeping a secret from Ridge and their daughters going to war, the Dressmaker will be — where else? — but spending time with his ex-wife Taylor. None of this is fatal to their relationship, but the next big twist just might be.

By week’s end, in what shouldn’t be a surprising move, but somehow is, Ridge will have his daughter and co-CEO’s back and support her decision. If, as we suspect, she has cut Hope’s line, it’s a foregone conclusion that Brooke will expect her man to save it. When he doesn’t? Well, there’s your “Bridge” over troubled waters, folks.

Are Brooke and Ridge destined for a break up? Are we headed toward another “Tridge” reunion? If so, will a return to this distasteful plot twist be inevitable?
