CORRIE legend Beverley Callard has opened up about her recovery following breast cancer surgery.
After undergoing an operation last week, Beverly, 68, has revealed she is currently feeling “sore and queasy” in a new update.



The Coronation Street icon revealed she had breast cancer earlier this month on Ireland‘s RTE Late Late Show.
She then went on to have surgery last week, with the soap star sharing various updates on her recovery since.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Beverley said in another update: “I woke up this morning and I put on yesterday’s clothes, which were dropped on the floor last night when I went to bed.
“I have not cleaned my teeth, I have not combed my hair. I cannot answer my phone because if someone says a kind word to me, I cry.

“I am sore, I am feeling absolutely rubbish today. And I have been like that all day.
“I am really tired, I keep feeling a bit queasy, and I have no idea why.”
Beverley then explained how she is worried that her posting on social media might people feel miserable.
She then showed a gift that she had received in the post from a stranger.

The gift was a heart-shaped cushion and a card.
She explained that the cushion was to ease her pain under her arm following her surgery.
Fans and friends flocked to the comments section to show Beverley support amid her health battle.
Ulrika Jonsson penned: “Oh, lovely lady. Hate to see you so sad. One day at a time or one hour at a time. Lots of love to you.”
Lizzie Cundy added: “Love you my friend . At times will feel low … Be kind to yourself my love . You are amazing.”
Hayley Tamaddon penned: “Wish I could hug you.”
Meanwhile one fan said: “I wish I could reach into the screen, and give you a big hug Bev. Everyone has bad days, but, it will get better. Tomorrow is another day,we’re all rooting for you xx.”
While another added: “It’s only been a week and look at what your body has been through. Don’t be so hard on yourself.
“This journey is a full on rollercoaster of emotions. If you want to cry, then cry. You’re a bloody warrior.”
And a third said: “You are totally allowed to have yucky days. Crying is good for you don’t hold it in.
“Sending love, prayers and gentle hugs for better days ahead. You are so loved!!”
Announcing her breast cancer diagnosis earlier this month on The Late Late Show in Ireland to host Patrick Kielty, the actress got candid.
She revealed she received the news just 20 minutes before filming her first scenes in her new Fair City soap opera role.
She explained: “I’d had some tests just before I left the UK and literally 15 to 20 minutes before [her first scene] I was in my dressing room at Fair City, getting ready to go on, and I was quite nervous and thinking, ‘I hope everybody thinks I’m all right, whatever’.
“And my consultant rang me and said, ‘you’ve got to come back to the UK‘.
“I said, ‘well I can’t possibly, you know, I’ve just taken a new job I’m away for a month’.”
Beverley added: “I’m fine. I’m absolutely fine.
