General Hospital Spoilers report Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have been married and divorced more
times than they can count at this point.
The thought of entering into another sham of a marriage to protect Sonny sends chills up Carly’s spine. She’s happy being single and
independent. She’s open to love again, but she certainly wasn’t about to go barking up her ex-husband’s tree to find it.
She and Sonny have had a rather difficult year as co-parents, and she wasn’t seeking a wedding as the capstone of it just to keep her children’s father out of prison.
But here they are. Forced to pretend they hooked up on Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliott) bed and are rekindling their romance, will Sonny and Carly be able to pull off this lie that they got caught up in the moment, or is Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) right that no one will believe that?
To be honest, even the fans are having a hard time believing Sonny and Carly would hook up at all right now. They’ve been fighting all year long. They haven’t been on good terms since their last divorce, which stemmed from Carly catching Sonny in bed with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) — her mortal enemy.

<p>She knew the moment he said she needed to pretend she had been with him that he needed an alibi and the reason for it wouldn’t be a clean one. She obliged anyway.</p>
<p>Now, she’s somewhat remorseful that she didn’t ask more questions first. Maybe she could’ve come up with a better plan.</p>

<p>Some fans are arguing that Sonny botched this cover-up on purpose without Carly’s consent. He was still tucking in his shirt when he walked into the Quartermaine living room. Was that on purpose?</p>
<p>Carly hardly noticed since she was so caught up in the lie she didn’t know she was a part of. Some fans think Sonny is longing for the stability Carly always brings into his life, and maybe regrets cheating with Nina.</p>
<p>Will he use Diane’s valid warning that they need a pattern of behavior to strongarm Carly into marrying him and moving back in to play house?</p>
