EastEnders‘ Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) are set to give their relationship another go in episodes airing next week.
The pair, who are parents to Avani and Nugget but have never been a couple on-screen, find themselves caught up in a passionate moment after Priya confronts Ravi about letting their daughter down.
Ravi will promise Priya that he’ll find a legitimate way to make money to support his family and they agree to give things another go, but his words amount to nothing as the character instead decides to up his drug-dealing activities to combat financial pressures.
After Ravi decides to move his drug operation to Kojo’s place, much to Harry’s horror, a confused Kojo arrives home from his birthday celebrations with his brother George to find Okie and his group inside his flat.
“George promises to take Kojo out for some bonding time,” explains our Walford insider. “This is a huge relief to Harry as this means Okie won’t be disturbed. But when George is distracted by upset Nicola, Kojo gets home earlier than expected, and he walks straight into danger…”
To stop Kojo getting upset, Okie hands him a pill, which he claims will calm him down. But when George finds his brother in a terrible state in the Square, he’s convinced that Harry had something to do with it.
“George immediately rushes to Kojo’s aid and takes his brother to Phil’s, where he’s safe,” says our source.
“Jack comes to help, but when he discovers that Kojo has taken drugs, he has no choice but to arrest him!”
While a furious George confronts Harry, Kojo ultimately stands by his friend and takes Harry’s side, leaving his brother in despair.
Will all the drama derail Ravi and Priya’s plans to get back together?
