EastEnders’ Harvey Monroe has made a decision about his romantic future – but he soon got a big shock from his partner Jean Slater.
Harvey has been having an affair with Kathy for a couple of months now, and he planned a caravan break for them both. However, the leaflet was discovered, and the Slaters assumed the holiday was for them.
The Slaters packed for their getaway in today’s episode, but Jean told Harvey that she didn’t want to go without struggling Stacey – which upset Lily.
Harvey went to see Kathy in the café, but she was frustrated by his advances and didn’t want their relationship to be a secret for much longer.

He attempted to fix the holiday plans and convinced Stacey to come, by lying to her and saying that Lily wanted her mum there.
It looked like Harvey had saved the day, but when Lily expressed her disappointment that Stacey was coming on holiday after all, a huge argument and Harvey reached breaking point.
Stacey and Lily eventually made amends and decided to go on the trip together – but it was too late, as Alfie told Harvey that he’d missed his slot to pick up the caravan.

As the Slaters reflected on the day’s events, Jean realised how much Harvey meant to her, and she roped in Lily, Alfie and Freddie to help her with a surprise.
Harvey returned to find a makeshift tent set up, but as Jean began making a romantic speech, he got overwhelmed and rushed out.
He found Kathy and told her that he can’t continue the affair any longer. While Kathy thought Harvey was ending things with her, he instead said he was going to tell Jean the truth so they could be together properly.
