Is Sister Wives star, Janelle Brown’s “divorce” from Kody Brown storyline actually fake? She has been vacillating as to what she wants to do with her marriage which was an issue between her and Christine Brown

Woolley.

Janelle Brown Doesn’t Know How To ‘Divorce’Since 2020, Janelle Brown has been struggling with Kody Brown. He wanted her to evict their sons, Gabe and Garrison Brown from her home during the pandemic. Kody believed that they were dangerous and harming the family or his ability to safely rotate wives.

To Janelle, that was false as they were not party boys. Gabe Brown was in college and only saw his girlfriend whereas Garrison was an essential worker who only left for his job. More so, he was saving for a down payment on a home so Janelle was not about to choose a man over her children. She stood her ground and that was where they started their downfall.

Janelle continued to stand up for herself and to him but still remained committed to their life together. She even wanted to build on Coyote Pass, which he put up a fight about.

Eventually, Kody stopped coming around and was not even engaging with their daughter, Savanah. Weeks would go by and Janelle realized she did not need him which elated Christine Brown Woolley who had already exited the marriage.

She wanted Janelle to see her worth and leave but it was not so easy and she is still somewhat wishy-washy.

Despite that, Janelle Brown has decided she is done with Kody and wants to move on. However, she noted she doesn’t feel the need to get a divorce. More so, she does not even know how to get one from the Church. Followers started a Reddit thread about this and how she has already been divorced:

She has said she doesn’t know how to be divorced in their faith, but wasn’t she married to Meri’s brother before marrying Kody? Presumably she found a way to divorce from that marriage? Why not apply it here?

That being said, does Janelle Brown not want a divorce or does she have other motives? Followers weighed in and shared their thoughts:

I think she is saying since her marriage was never “legal” and AUB (some differences from LDS) she does not know how to “divorce.”
Could be for show content or she figures enough time has passed that their church would make an exception and help her
She was only spiritually married to Kody, and she isn’t sure how to get spiritually divorced, nor does she seem to care.
Most Sister Wives fans feel Janelle just does not care to get the “release.” Someone also noted that she is just avoiding doing anything about her marriage. Both Meri Brown and Christine Brown Woolley have taken action.

Meri went to their Church to get a “release.” Christine said she did not practice the faith anymore so she did not need the Church to release her. She has since remarried.
