This week news broke that The Bold and the Beautiful fan fave Tanner Novlan (Dr. John Finnegan) has booked an exciting new gig on the Hallmark Channel.   But, does that mean that we

will be seeing less of him on B&B?  Keep reading to find out!  Here’s what’s going on with Tanner Novlan.

When Dr. Finn arrived on The Bold and the Beautiful, Tanner Novlan was an up-and-coming actor with a very short resume who was known as “the hot guy from that car insurance

commercial.”

After a few years on B&B, Tanner now has a massive fan base and appears to be attending casting calls for other networks.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Star Books New Role

The CBS daytime star posted a photo of himself on the set of his new movie alongside co-star Rachel Boston.

Tanner captioned the fun photo, “Nothing says Thanksgiving like gathering around the TV for a Christmas movie! Tune in Nov 28th!!”

According to an official press released from the Hallmark Channel, Novlan will be playing the part of Austin in their Debbie Macomber’s new movie  Joyful Mrs. Miracle.

Joyful Mrs. Miracle’s official summary from Hallmark teases, “Three adult siblings return to their childhood home at Christmas to honor their late grandmother’s wishes and deal with the new leadership for the family’s company.

When Mrs. Miracle (Boston) appears, she poses as an estate planner and uses her special brand of Christmas magic to help the siblings come to an agreement and reawaken their bonds.

During all of the family drama, Charlotte finds herself reconnecting with Austin (Novlan), the manor’s caretaker — and her first love.”

Hallmark movies are really right up Tanner Novlan’s alley, we can all agree he has the wholesome “Hallmark look.”  But, the B&B star can still do both.

There are dozens of Bold and Beautiful cast members that have appeared on Hallmark movies over the years and it hasn’t affected their screen time at all.

If the Bold and Beautiful rumors are true and Tanner Novlan is leaving the CBS soap, it has nothing to do with booking one Hallmark Christmas movie.  Would you be sad to see Finn leave B&B?
