Emmerdale has lined up a sad new struggle for April Windsor, who is finding it hard to return to normal after living on the streets and losing her unborn baby.
Viewers will know that April has had a rough few months and ran away from home over the Christmas period, leaving her family in turmoil as they searched for her.
Back in February, April was eventually found alive and the soap delivered a special flashback episode which followed her tragic journey on the streets.
A pregnant April became involved with a shady character named Dylan. She turned to stealing to make ends meet after her friend Becca was stabbed and Dylan was arrested for dealing drugs.
In heartbreaking scenes, the teenager suffered a stillbirth in a public toilet and her cries for help were ignored by the public.

Since returning home, April has struggled to open up to her family while finding it hard to adjust to being back in school.
In scenes that will air soon on the soap, April attends a small party for the teens at Mulberry Cottage and realises that her experiences set her apart from her friends.
Things soon take a turn and Marlon Dingle and Rhona Goskirk are left wondering how to handle their daughter going forward.
Is April becoming isolated from her friends and peers?

Previously speaking about April’s harrowing ordeal, April actor Amelia Flanagan said on Instagram that she feels “so lucky to have been trusted with this incredible and heartbreaking storyline”.
“So many people helped make this episode happen, and every single person put their everything into it,” she continued. “Working with @missingpeople.uk has been eye opening and such a crucial part of getting this right. Thank you to @emmerdale for this incredible opportunity. Forever grateful for being able to pursue my dream.”
