EastEnders fans have been left concerned for Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) as they point out a potentially serious health issue for the popular, and amusing, social media influencer.

Billing herself as the ‘Kimfluencer’, social butterfly Kim first arrived in Walford back in 2009 as the sister of Denise (Diane Parish), who had arrived three years earlier.

Currently, Kim busies herself organising the love lives of the Walford locals, including Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), and planning the recent wedding of Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) as they tied the knot for the third time.

Despite a rocky past when it comes to romance, Kim is currently in a relationship with Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) after the pair met when she was looking for justice for her murdered husband, Vincent Hubbard (Richard Blackwood).

Although Kim appears to be at the heart of Albert Square’s community, and has the world at her feet due to her influential career, some soap fans have been left scratching their heads over her behaviour.

In recent scenes on the BBC soap, Kim has appeared to be drinking a lot at The Queen Vic and The Prince Albert, along with taunting the locals while half-cut, including Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe).

She’s also rarely seen with her children, Pearl and Mica, as she floats around amusing punters in the bars.

Viewers are now claiming Kim has become alcohol dependent and is neglecting her children, which is very out of character for the social media star. Could this be the end of Kim’s time in Walford?

Taking to Reddit, one EastEnders fan wrote: “Kim Fox Storyline Theory. In almost every scene lately, Kim has been drinking alcohol and has barely been with her kids, often out drinking alone in places like the Vic.

“This, combined with Tameka Empson recently teasing an ’emotional storyline’ for Kim, has led me to believe that she will be facing some sort of alcohol related storyline.”

A second added: “I posted months ago why no one is concerned Kim was heavily drinking in the Albert!! It has to be leading to something.”

A third chimed in: “1 2nd the above comment, I believe it’s to do with her missing presumed dead hubby returning.”

“I’m not sure what I think about the alcohol part but I do agree that a social media backlash storyline is very plausible. I definitely think the end of the Kimfluencer is approaching.

“I have absolutely no evidence for it but I just have a feeling Ben Wadey will give the fox family a nice revamp like the Slaters are getting. he seems to value the integrity of key families on the Square”, suggested another.

While another exclaimed: “The Fox sisters have always been functional alcoholics tbh but EE have never really developed upon it..”
