EastEnders‘ Harry Mitchell is set to make a crucial mistake which could lead to deadly consequences.
Harry has found himself in lots of bother in recent weeks, after discovering Ravi Gulati’s secret drug stash. When Kojo Asare flushed the drugs, furious Ravi made it clear that Harry was now under his command.
In order to pay off the debt, Harry reluctantly let Ravi’s associate Okie run his operation from Kojo’s flat. But when Okie persuaded Kojo to take drugs, it became clear how sinister the situation really is.
In next week’s episodes, Harry and Kojo get ready to go to the carnival with Anna and Gina Knight. The foursome look forward to having some fun, following Kojo’s traumatic drug-induced experience.
Harry’s excitement is dampened by Okie, who continues to make himself at home in Kojo’s flat. With suspicious George also breathing down his neck, Harry isn’t in the mood to be romanced by Gina and rejects her advances, leaving her hurt and confused.
Later, things go from bad to worse for Harry when Okie shows him a gun. Ravi walks in on the conversation and demands that Harry disposes of it.
At the flat, Harry is left scrambling as he figures out where to hide the weapon. He is interrupted by George who is concerned about the mechanic’s recent treatment of Gina.
After George leaves, Harry decides to bury the gun but Ravi is unimpressed and forces him to retrieve it. However, when Harry returns to dig it up, he finds the firearm missing. How will Ravi react?
“The walls really are closing in on Harry now,” explains our EastEnders insider. “He is desperately trying to keep Kojo safe, but he also has no choice but to follow Ravi’s orders. And next week he is left with a gun…”
“Harry’s a bit of a bad boy but this is completely new territory to him. When he panics and makes a mistake, he ends up losing sight of the gun entirely. Who has picked it up and could this spell danger for the Square?”
