Emmerdale’s Mackenzie Boyd is set to infuriate villain John Sugden in dangerous new scenes.
The ITV soap has already teased the possibility of Mack being John’s next victim, after Mack exposed his past engagement to Aidan Moore.
Blaming Mack for Aaron Dingle having second thoughts, John went to see Aidan at the hospital and told him: “You know, right now, someone else needs putting out of their misery. That’ll be my friend Mack.”
In scenes set to air next week, Mack pushes the killer even further as plans for John and Aaron’s joint stag do get underway.

John’s sister Victoria is his best woman and Mack is Aaron’s best man, so the pair have been trying to organise the stag together.
They eventually decide on paintballing, and Mack takes this as an opportunity to goad John about his time in the military. Has Mack just sealed his fate?

Discussing his character John’s disturbing dark side earlier this month, Oliver Farnworth said: “The different intricacies of the character are just so interesting to play. He’s not just a villain or a bad person on paper – there’s way, way more to it than that.
“Even day by day, week by week, I’m literally still discovering things about him. So there’s plenty more to come and it’s a gift of a part.”

He continued: “There’s lots of big stuff coming up. I guess with the web that John’s woven for himself in the back of his mind, he’s anticipating people to start being suspicious, secrets to come out and people to start finding things out.
“He’s probably got a few set pieces prepared in his mind for dealing with all of this, but really what he’s had to do so far is just think on his feet and adapt to situations around him. I’m sure this will all change soon.”
