Elaine Knight (Harriet Thorpe) enters self-destruct mode in EastEnders next week, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, running The Queen Vic pub into the ground.
In the aftermath of her separation from husband George (Colin Salmon), she puts on a brave face to join in a party in the boozer.
As she bash becomes more rowdy, she announces that prosecco is on the house for the rest of the evening – and hands over 5k to Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) for a singles cruise.
Daughter Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is left to handle the bar alone, and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) steps in to help.
The next day, when Elaine wakes up hungover, Phil spells it out to her that she can’t carry on with her erratic behaviour.
There’s a shocking sexual assault next week, with Joel Marshall (Max Murray) roping Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) into his disgusting behaviour.
Tommy is enlisted to record Joel stumbling on top of a passenger, touching her inappropriately.
Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) then attempts some damage control, offering to pay off the victim in exchange for her silence and threatening to implicate Tommy in the crime if he doesn’t keep quiet.

Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) gets wind of Joel’s troubling influence, and decides that she and husband Alfie (Shane Richie) should stage an intervention.
However, he’s nowhere to be found.
Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) has been threatening to sabotage the limousine business, and is furious that her archenemy Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) has been branded ‘Mrs Monroe’ in the press.
Alfie has to step in and calm her down, but quickly becomes preoccupied by messages on his phone – and by a phone call from Stacey (Lacey Turner).
What does she want?
Later in the week, with Kat having finally sat down with Alfie, he tells her that his brother Spencer (Christopher Parker) is in a bad way in Australia, and he’s going to have go and visit him.
What secrets is Alfie keeping?
