Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash, who recently enjoyed a family holiday in Turkey, have sparked rumours that they might be planning to add another child to their brood. The couple, who already share three children together – Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two – and Stacey’s two sons from another relationship, Zachary, 17, Leighton, 12, were spotted looking blissfully happy as they relaxed at a luxury resort in Antalya. Despite already having a full house, insiders suggest that the pair are so enamoured with parenthood that they’re considering expanding their family even further. “The idea of another baby is never off the table completely,” revealed a source.

They continued: “Stacey has been an amazing mum since she was 17 and she loves her kids and Joe more than anything. They’ve both got so much love to give and Joe is the best, most hands-on dad. They would have another baby if the time was right, but their lives are so busy. They’ve talked about Joe having a vasectomy but even then they’ve joked about it being reversible. No one would be surprised if a number seven came along.”

However, back in August 2023, Stacey, 35, seemed to dismiss the idea of having more children. She said: “Me and Joe spoke about it when we had one night away. We could not have any more kids. At this point, we are struggling, to say the least, to be good parents and try to work and do everything else in between. So no, not right now.”,

Just a month ago, Joe, 43, hinted at the possibility of undergoing a vasectomy, stating, “I think the snip could be on the cards. I’m trying to fight it, but it’s a losing battle. Stacey keeps telling me it’s reversible, and that’s a big hint!”

However, it appears the couple have since had a change of heart. In a recent Instagram video from 2024 showing their youngest, Belle, taking her first steps, Stacey wrote, “What happened to my baby? Why am I broody?” She has also expressed, “I can honestly say my favourite thing in the whole wide world is being a mum. I just get so much joy from watching our little ones grow .”

Devoted father Joe seems to share the sentiment, as he has said, “We’re slightly addicted to babies – it’s so nice to be needed. You think, ‘Six has to be it,’ but I’d never say never.”

He added, “The baby bit goes so fast and then, before you know it, they’re toddlers. Then you yearn for babies again.”

Despite their playful squabbles often captured on their BBC reality show Stacey and Joe, an insider assures that things are as peaceful as ever at Pickle Cottage.

“Of course they bicker and fall out, but they always come back together as a team. They know from their own upbringings, which weren’t always easy, that a good relationship takes work and they’ve never forgotten that.

“Even with the children and their hectic lifestyle, during their downtime, they understand they must continue investing time and effort to maintain a strong marriage, and that’s precisely what they do,” the source revealed. “Stacey only desires to be with Joe and he shares identical feelings about her, so they’ll do everything possible to ensure they remain united as a team.”

During their lavish Turkish getaway, the family resided at the five-star Regnum The Crown, where accommodation begins at approximately £1,000 per night. Whilst posing for golden hour photographs on the beach with their children, Stacey appeared glowing in an off-the-shoulder satin minidress, with Joe planting a kiss on her cheek as they wandered along the water’s edge.

In additional snapshots, the family pulled amusing expressions at the camera, and Stacey displayed her sculpted physique in a black bikini whilst standing poolside. “I am actually so proud of myself because I’ve stuck to my weight training consistently since February,” she shared on Instagram.

In another adorable photograph she posed with Rose and Belle, whose swimwear complemented their mother’s beach attire. “Why does matching with my girlies make me so happy?” she captioned alongside it.

Nevertheless, the Loose Women panellist found herself defending the trip after facing accusations of “blagging” it.

“This is the third time I’ve come back here,” she posted on Instagram. “This wasn’t a free holiday. I just love this place so much and think it deserves the BEST reviews and tags ever because it’s just incredible.”

She described it as “our happy place” and continued, “I have NEVER been someone who goes back to the same place every year, but it’s perfect for all our children and their different ages.”

Stacey and Joe began their romance in 2016, tying the knot in July 2022 at their Essex residence.

Their combined family features six youngsters: Stacey’s boys Zachary and Leighton from past relationships, whilst Joe also has son Harry from a former partnership.

The pair welcomed Rex in May 2019, Rose in October 2021 and Belle in February 2023.

Should they choose against having another biological child, both have expressed their future aspiration to foster youngsters.

“I would love to one day foster as well, when we are older and all the kids are grown up and moved out, that would be our dream,” Stacey has revealed.

Joe concurs, previously stating, “Fostering is something that me and Stacey have talked about and would love to do… we’d love to give something back, you know?”.

He continued, “Touch wood, we’re both healthy enough and fit enough. We’ll have to wait until the time comes, but we’re open to the option.”
