EastEnders has confirmed how Denise Fox’s big decision regarding her love life will be revealed on live television.

Denise has been torn between her ex-husband Jack Branning and new lover Ravi Gulati, with fans being given the choice to pick her match during the interactive storyline as part of the soap’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

Ahead of the anniversary week, which commences on February 17, it has now been revealed how Denise’s interactive storyline will play out, with fans being given the chance to vote for her partner following Wednesday’s (February 19) episode.

The vote will then close ahead of Thursday’s (February 20) live instalment, which will see Denise knock on the door of the man who gained the most votes.

Next week’s scenes will begin with Denise even more conflicted regarding her feelings as Jack and Ravi both ramp up their efforts to prove their worth to her. Just as she seems to be sorting through her emotions, tragedy will strike as The Vic catches fire.

As the residents of Albert Square watch on, Jack and Ravi become involved in the action, leaving Denise with a choice to make regarding her love life.

Ahead of the storyline’s exciting fan-driven twist, Diane Parish – who has played Denise since 2006 – shared her thoughts, saying: “It’s a blessing. I’ve been blessed throughout my time in EastEnders, particularly in the last few years.

“I think Chris Clenshaw understands Denise better than anybody, and he’s gifted me with the most exciting two years of my time on the show to date.”
