She told Ben and Cat: “Well funny enough during the live… giving birth.”

Ben gasped: “Sonia gives birth?”

Sharon replied: “In the live episode whilst trapped in The Vic, which is all going to be a life and death situation.”

Reacting to Sharon’s tease, one EastEnders fan said: “Sharon Marshall has let slip that Sonia gives birth during the live episode in The Queen Vic… maybe she and her baby don’t survive as there are deaths as we all know.”

A second wrote: “Is this new information or did we already know this?”

“This poor woman is never going to experience giving birth in a hospital is she? Hope we get Midwife Mo again at least,” said a third.

While a fourth commented: “According to Nat Cass’ podcast today, her and Patsy were still filming last week so I doubt it.”
