Earlier this year, Charlotte Jordan announced she was leaving her role as Daisy after four years amid a slew of cast exits.
“My time at Coronation Street is something I’ll always cherish,” she said at the time. “After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities.

“It’s been a privilege to be part of a wonderful institution with even more wonderful colleagues who have taught me so much.”
Daisy recently discovered that she is pregnant, but viewers are unsure if the father is Kit Green or Daniel Osbourne.
Daniel asked Daisy to take a DNA test to determine who the father is, but when she received the results, she deleted the information and confided in Jenny Connor that the identity of the father isn’t relevant and will remain a secret.
Daniel has been in an on/off relationship with Bethany Platt, but the pair came to blows last month when Daisy revealed her pregnancy to Bethany.
Recently weighing in on whether Daisy and Bethany could ever be friends, Jordan said: “I think they’re both quite similar and it’s a shame that a stupid boy has gotten in the way of a lovely friendship! But I don’t think they could ever be friends, they’ll always be frenemies.”
