Days of Our Lives’ Cherie Jimenez enthusiastically reposted a fan video that celebrates her character, Gabi.

Now that Stefan was taken from Salem by Vivian, leaving Days of Our Lives’ Gabi to think he just up and left town, she’s become more focused. Cherie Jimenez has done a great job of stepping into Gabi’s shoes and taking the character in a surprising new direction. While it’s going to be very hard for her to accept that her cousin Javi is dating Leo, Gabi’s got a good thing going with JJ, who’s a much better influence on her than Stefan. Jimenez gushed over a social media video that shows many of her finest moments on the show thus far.

She’s a Powerhouse

A fan posted on X, formerly Twitter, a video compilation of scenes of Jimenez as Gabi, set to a tune that seems to be called Boss B**ch (by Doja Cat). Jimenez retweeted it with the humble caption, “Ummm I love this so much 🥹⏳.” The video begins with Gabi telling Stefan (Brandon Barash), “And for the record, your brother is better in bed than you are,” with a shirtless EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) in the background.

Many of the clips in the video montage showed Gabi in her finest moments, including pointing a gun at Clyde, throwing a nutty in the hospital, looking smarmy, throwing a glass of water at Stefan, and displaying various emotions, including looking happy, angry, and pensive. At one point, one of the clips has Stefan standing between Gabi and Ava (Tamara Braun). Ava starts to say, “Why you vindictive…” and Gabi, who’s flipping out, yells, “Go ahead! Finish that thought!”

Fans Couldn’t Get Enough

One fan responded, “Gabi is an ICON!” Another was suitably blown away by the video, praising it with, “That’s amazing! Love it!😍.” Another fan also praised Jimenez’s Gabi with the comment, “Cherie is serving spitfire boss b**ch fire Gabi 🔥”

Jimenez’s excellent performance as Gabi has made many fans forget that she’s a recast. She’s slipped easily into the part and makes every scene dynamic. It will be interesting to see how Gabi and JJ’s (Casey Moss) relationship progresses. Her retweeting the post showed how much she loves what the writers are doing with Gabi and how she’s taking the character to the next level.
