Belle and Chanel had hangovers and massive headaches to deal with.

The morning after Jada’s drunken bachelorette party was particularly eventful for Belle and Chanel. The Wednesday, January 29 episode of Days of Our Lives brought them truths, potential revelations, and judgment. So much judgment.

Was This a One-Off for Belle and EJ?

Belle (Martha Madison) experienced a special brand of hell the morning after Jada’s (Elia Cantu) party. First, she woke up to find EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) in her bed. The two bantered and verbally sparred and hooked up again.

Then things took a turn when Marlena (Deidre Hall) walked in on Belle and EJ post-coital. She expressed her massive disappointment in her grown *ss daughter. She couldn’t believe Belle was going there again with EJ.

Marlena didn’t hold back. She even played the Eric (Greg Vaughan) card. Later, the good doctor told the DiMera that he wasn’t welcome at her place. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) stayed there once upon a time, yet she won’t let EJ spend the night. Wow, how does that feel, EJ?

Marlena does NOT like him, and for good reason.

Guess it’s good that Belle and EJ decided not to take things further. Although Shawn (Brandon Beemer) knows they hooked up again, there’s no need to shut things down if they don’t want to. It is Belle’s life. She can do what she wants.

Is Chanel Ready to Forgive Johnny?

Meanwhile, Chanel (Raven Bowens) woke up in Shawn’s Salem PD t-shirt (she was rocking it), and Shawn was shirtless (he was also rocking it). As suspected, nothing happened between the two other than the sloppy kiss Chanel planted on Shawn at the bar.

Chanel looked appalled at what she had done. However, Shawn was the best person to speak to about Chanel’s problems with Johnny (Carson Boatman). He could relate to Chanel’s side of things, but he could also relate to Johnny’s side of things. After all, Belle and Shawn had cheated on each other while married.
