The trauma faced by Abi Webster (Sally Carman) continues to be exarcebated – and Coronation Street will soon air scenes which show her cradling the dead body of murdered son Sed Franklin (Harry Visinoni).
Since finding Mason Radcliffe stabbed, Abi has been in a state, especially when the teenager died.
It left her with memories of Seb, who was also murdered, ripping her life apart.
Since then she has been acting erratically and having visions of Seb, with her behaviour ringing alarm bells for her loved ones.
In upcoming episodes, Abi tells Nina how Mason’s death has reignited her grief over Seb and now she’s worried about Kevin’s health too, with her husband set to face a testicular cancer battle.
Later, Abi looks at her reflection in the window and sees Seb staring back at her. Making out she’s tired, Abi heads to bed leaving Kevin concerned.
Later, Abi has another panic attack at the recent as she sees the place where Mason died.
Abi climbs out of the car transfixed on the spot and she imagines she sees herself cradling Seb’s body. Overwhelmed by terror and guilt, she sprints away.
Kevin returns home to find Abi curled up on the sofa. He tells her that he’ll get his scan results in a couple of weeks. When Kevin offers to pick up Alife from the childminder, Abi looks at him aghast, clearly imagining outcomes that aren’t there.
Debbie shares her concerns over Abi’s mental state with Ronnie and how she’s worried for Alfie’s safety.
Abi is then shocked to find Kevin seated at the table with a social worker and furiously believe that it was Kevin’s sister who reported her.
With those around her evidently frightened for her, how much worse will things get for Abi?
