Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, January 20, reveals that Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will turn to her mother for words of wisdom, so Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) may push Chanel to follow her heart back to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) despite his mistakes.

At the hospital, Johnny will direct some new scenes featuring Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins), so that’ll be all kinds of awkward.

However, Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) will give Johnny support in a compassionate conversation and try to lift his spirits.

Unfortunately, trouble is brewing for Bonnie since someone will apparently take down the caution tape and “out of order” sign on the elevator.

That’ll set the stage for Bonnie to fall down the elevator shaft, which could be Monday’s shocking DOOL cliffhanger.

Over with Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow), she’ll lay down the law with Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall).

Although Kate will allow Hattie to reprise her role as Charlemagne on Body & Soul, she’ll make it clear that she doesn’t want any more drama.

Of course, it’s easy to imagine Hattie facing accusations over this horrific elevator news in the coming episodes, but she won’t be responsible.

Back with Alex and Joy, they’ll discuss their chemistry and new connection. Since Joy and Alex are feeling a spark, they’ll decide to start dating and see where things lead.

Now that Alex and Joy are putting a label on their growing bond, Days fans are going to see more complications.

Alex is locking in something fresh with Joy, but it won’t be long until Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) admits she wants him back!

Meanwhile, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will shock Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) by accusing Kerry (Derek Yates) of writing all those horrible Lady Whistleblower columns.

Days spoilers say Javi may think Leo’s jumping to conclusions again, but Leo will insist he’s got proof that Kerry’s guilty.

Since Leo just derailed Javi’s canoodling under the sheets with Kerry, he’ll spell out how he knows the truth.

Between Kerry’s Rochester sweatshirt and the “leaked” storyline trap he just fell into, Javi should be convinced that Leo finally has the right culprit.
