Coronation Street star Georgia Taylor has reportedly split from boyfriend Charlie De Melo after two years together.
The Toyah Battersby star, 44, met Charlie on the set of the long-running ITV soap in 2020, and the pair began dating in 2022.
Charlie, 35, played Toyah’s screen husband Imran Habeeb for five years before his character was killed off in the aftermath of a tragic car crash – caused by Toyah herself.
Charlie and Georgia confirmed their romance the following year, sharing a series of selfies as they attended a Blur concert together at London’s Wembley Arena.
However, it is believed that the couple decided to call it quits several months ago, ending their romance after two years of dating and holiday selfies.
A source has claimed that, although their relationship is over, the pair remain on good terms.
A source told The Sun: ‘Georgia and Charlie are no longer a couple, but they remain friends who care about each other deeply.
‘They have lots of happy memories together, but are both really focused on work at the moment and looking forward to the future, there are no hard feelings.’
The pair are believed to have spent Christmas apart, with Georgia spending time with her Corrie co-stars Colson Smith, Julia Goulding and Daniel Brocklebank.
Georgia previously dated Casualty and The Bill star Mark Letheren for 14 years. She began dating Charlie after their split in July 2022 – fueling romance rumours after being linked in February that year.
Charlie, meanwhile, previously dated actress and TV presenter Nicola Thorp, dating for around a year in 2018.
A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Sadly Nicola and Charlie decided to cool things after growing apart.’
‘They’ve decided to remain pals – although they aren’t hanging out as much platonically as they they did before they were a couple and have been tending to go to separate,’ the source continued.
Since Imran’s exit from the soap, it’s been a tumultuous time for poor Toyah. She first had to deal with sister Leanne joining a cult, and then news of her traumatic teenage stillbirth became public knowledge.
As she faced a series of tough questions about the baby – which she’d had at the age of 19, after being attacked by rapist Phil Simmonds – Toyah grew close to Leanne’s man, Nick, and an affair began.
The family were hit by a further bombshell when they learned that dad Les had died in an unfortunate abattoir-related incident – only for Leanne to take the opportunity to exact revenge on her sister.
