Coronation Street‘s Georgia Taylor and former co-star Charlie de Melo have ended their relationship after two years of dating.
The pair, who played Toyah Battersby and Imran Habeeb respectively on the ITV soap, began a relationship in late 2022, with the development coming after de Melo had departed his role in June of that year.
Just over two years on, it has been reported that the pair – whose characters were married on the soap – have decided to break-up, with The Sun reporting that the separation occurred a few months ago – though they reportedly remain friends.
The pair had confirmed their relationship back in July 2023 after attending a Blur concert together, with the former couple jetting off to southern Italy later that month as they shared snaps to their social media accounts.
Whilst de Melo may have departed the soap, Taylor is very much still a part of the show as Toyah recently found herself embroiled in a dramatic storyline involving her sister Leanne, who framed her sibling for fraud after discovering her relationship with Nick Tilsley.

In a surprise move, Toyah implored Nick to not incriminate Leanne when speaking to the police, with Taylor explaining her character’s decision, saying: “It’s interesting because Toyah and Nick have two quite different responses to this.
“Toyah feels great compassion for Leanne and because she does have quite a forgiving nature, she wants to do anything to stop her sister from getting into more trouble and causing her more pain.
Whereas Nick has had enough. This is the straw that broke the camel’s back for him. He’s quite determined to take Leanne down, which I think is going to cause a bit of conflict between Nick and Leanne.
“They [Toyah and Leanne] have been through so much but this is next level, and the way things are going, it’s going to take a very long time but I really do hope they can come back together… Ultimately there’s just too much history there to not have them back together.”
