EASTENDERS fans have realised Cindy Beale’s fate was ‘revealed’ by bosses weeks before Christmas Day.
The BBC soap aired two explosive festive specials last night as Cindy and Junior’s affair was exposed.
In the Queen Vic as the recording of Cindy admitting everything played ruining the festivities, she was humiliated.
With Ian literally throwing her out of his house and into the freezing, snowy conditions Cindy booked a cab out of Walford.
However, while she was waiting, an unknown attacker smacked her over the head with a shovel.
With the character – played by Michelle Collins – now fighting for her life, it remains to be seen who left Cindy for dead.
But EastEnders bosses already hinted at the outcome of the Christmas Day special weeks ago.
In an official image promoting the showdown, Cindy could be seen at the top of the dinner table with the Knight and Beale families.
A close up of the shot shows a tiny shovel sitting on the table beside cutlery and Christmas crackers.
After the episode, one eagle-eyed fan simply posted: “oh… my god.”
A second wrote: “The snow shovel was on the table all along on the advertised Christmas picture! In tiny form inside a Christmas cracker. Wow!”

“The shovel theories were correct and I’m kinda shook but I suspect it was Gina,” said a third.
It remains to be seen if Cindy will survive her vicious attack – and if she knows who hit her.
