Sister Wives Star Kody Brown On Churches
The rebrand of Robyn Brown involves her daughters and the church. Kody Brown doesn’t mind if they go to church. However, he does mind Robtn Brown going without him.
According to him, too many men looked at her with fawning eyes in his old church. And, he decided they should be careful about which church Breanna and Aurora got to because kids can be lost to “cults.”
Sister Wives fans saw that Breanna and Aurora spoke with Robyn Brown about going to church. What shocked TLC fans more than anything else is that Breanna and Aurora are not little girls.
In fact, both of them are adults in their 20s. Of course, their mom wouldn’t like them attending church without her, so she wants to go along as well.
Sister Wives Spoilers – Shopping For A Church
Robyn Brown took the kids to an interdenominational church that TLC made sure to let everyone know existed. Of course, Kody Brown’s last remaining wife did all the talking while Breanna and Aurora sat there as if God had struck them dumb. A reminder: These women are in their 20s and are presumably well-educated at college.
Sister Wives fans saw that during the interview with the pastor, Robyn had to bring up the over-dramatized storyline that the polygamist family fled from Utah with the cops on Kody’s tail.
And that was always an exaggeration. It would be nice to think that Breanna and Aurora were mute from embarrassment, but there were no signs of cringing in their facial expressions.
Scratching For Content Criticism
Sister Wives fans who watched the teaser for the episode on YouTube thought the whole scene was too weird and cringe. Adult kids not being able to choose their own church seemed beyond normal to them. So, some of them accused TLC of scraping the barrel for content. Here are some of their reactions:
- They’re adults. According to Kody, they should not be living at home. At least thats how he treated his other kids. Also, they’re adults, why do they need permission to go to church?
- We want to see the Janelle, Christine, and Meri family story line !! Why would we care about watching a person that broke up the family !!! Fire her already, we want to see the real polygamy family ..
- Such ridiculousness. Why can’t these young women just go to a few churches to find what suits them??? Why must deceitful Robyn have to tag along and interview the pastor??? This defies logic and [reeks] of inauthenticity. More putting on for the cameras.
- So this show is totally reaching for content to keep this horrible show going. FAIL
