Coronation Street couple Nick Tilsley and Toyah Habeeb may have already messed up in their plan to fight back against Leanne Battersby.
The pair have just declared war against Leanne after uncovering her ruthless plan to frame Toyah for fraud, but it seems that she’s staying
one step ahead.
Earlier this week, Nick pretended to turn against Toyah amid allegations that she’d stolen thousands of pounds from the Bistro business
account.
The true culprit was in fact Leanne, who’d opened a bank account in Toyah’s name to frame her.
Although Nick and Toyah had hoped to outsmart Leanne by pretending to be at odds, it seems that they’ve underestimated her obsession with making them pay.
In Tuesday’s episode, Leanne spotted a clue that Nick was deceiving her when she discovered that he’d wrapped a Christmas present for Toyah.
Toyah then sneaked into Nick’s flat for a romantic rendezvous, unaware that Leanne had planted a webcam in the room to spy on them.
Spotting her sister and her ex sharing a kiss as she watched the live feed, Leanne realised that they were now trying to turn the tables by plotting against her.

Leanne quickly responded with a dramatic escalation in her scheming. She headed to the police station and showed PC Craig Tinker a pile of presents that Nick had bought for Toyah.
She warned: “He’s saying he’s cut Toyah out of his life, but here he is buying her a load of presents. It’s not just Toyah defrauding the Bistro, it’s Nick as well.”
Tensions between the warring Battersby sisters will come to a head in the Christmas Day episode tomorrow – will their sibling dynamic ever be the same?
