At Rice Plaza, Laura welcomes Lucky and Liz. Aiden is off with friends. Laura tells her son how happy she is to have him and Lulu home for Christmas this year.
Lucky and Liz make their way over to the town tree. He is glad to see Liz happy with all that’s happening at the hospital. She says it’s hard not to be with all the festivities. Lucky says nothing beats Rice Plaza at Christmas, and
there’s no place else he’d rather be.
Dante and Rocco show up and wish Liz and Lucky a Merry Christmas before moving on. Liz can see Dante is putting on a good face, given what he’s going through.
Jordan runs into Isaiah. She is alone as TJ is working a double shift tonight. She asks what brings him here. He says he is here to see the tree but also was hoping to see her. He has a gift bag for her.
Laura talks to Dante and knows this isn’t the Christmas he planned. Dante says it’s not, but he is glad Rocco has his mom. She invites him to join them for Christmas, hoping it might lift his spirits. Dante thanks her but isn’t sure anything will make this Christmas easy for him.
A young lady grabs Gio, calling him Doug, and hands him a wallet to hold onto. Later, as a guy tells a cop someone picked his pocket, the young girl tries to get the wallet back from Gio. He knows she stole it, but she says the guy had it coming.
Lulu visits Tracy at the Quartmaine mansion and is embraced by her step-monster as Brook Lynn watches from the top of the steps. Tracy tells Lulu that she can’t go looking for Charlotte on her own, but Lulu insists she will do whatever it will take to find her. Tracy says she needs to wait for the authorities to find her, but if they don’t, they’ll use the family resources to locate her. Tracy reminds her that she has a son, too, and she can’t forget about the rest of her family. Lulu thanks her, and they embrace as Brook Lynn scowls from the top of the stairs.
In the kitchen, Ned is on cheese wheel duty and chats with Jason. Ned tells him that his presence seems to be helping Monica recover faster, and he’s glad he’s decided to move back home. Ned chuckles if only his grandfather could see him now. Ned admits he finally sees what Edward saw in him and asks if they can expect him tomorrow. Jason says they can, and he departs.
Later, Brook Lynn vents to Chase in the kitchen about Lulu, who everyone loves and always has to be the center of attention. Chase admits that when he first came to Port Charles, he had a little crush on Lulu. However, he assures her that she’s the only one for him, and they are perfect for one another.
Ned, Tracy, and Lois sit down together in the living room and toast to Michael, pulling one over on Drew and, hopefully, a new grandbaby from Chase and Brook Lynn this time next year. Lois doesn’t want them to pressure the kids, as they don’t need to feel like the whole family is waiting on them. Chase and Brook Lynn walk in and ask what they are waiting for. Tracy claims Gio, who was supposed to be here.
At Carly’s, she introduces Jack to her family. Sonny pulls her aside and asks if she’s sure about this. Carly says Jack has been a good friend to her and people close to them. Sonny says when the day comes that she needs him, he’ll be here. She doesn’t think that will be necessary.
Carly, Sonny and Michael toast to Michael as the new owner of Aurora. Jack meanwhile tells Joss he’s sorry about Dex. Joss asks how he knows about Dex. Jack explains the WSB and PCPD exchange info. She meant how he knew she and Dex were together. He says her mother must have mentioned it.
Michael and Kristina talk about his plans to see the kids tomorrow. She feels terrible for Willow as she knows what it feels like to wish to take something you’ve done back. Michael isn’t so sure Willow wants to take it back. Eventually, Kristina and Sonny leave for the tree lighting.
Back at Rice Plaza, Kristina and Sonny arrive. She says the tree is even bigger this year. Laura appears and says it’s due to her father’s generosity. Laura and Sonny wish one another a Merry Christmas and hug.
Isaiah, meanwhile, gives Jordan a towel to commemorate their time in the steam room and says this one won’t slip. She smiles and insists her towel was never in danger of slipping. They wish each other a Merry Christmas and Isaiah departs.
Gio asks the young woman why he shouldn’t call the cops over. She says they can do a good deed for someone on Christmas. She explains that the guy ripped off a woman selling ornaments, and he paid for one and took five. She wanted to make sure she got paid, and then turns the wallet in to the officer, claiming she found it on the ground.
Laterm Sonny and Kristina check in on Gio, who says he was on his way home but got sidetracked by some girl. When he looks over, she’s gone.
Lulu arrives, and Laura is happy to have both her children with her. She knows Lulu wants Charlotte here but hopes she can find a way to enjoy the holiday. Lulu says she has faith that Charlotte will be home and goes to find Rocco and Dante.
Lulu finds Dante and asks if he’s okay. He says sometimes Christmas wishes don’t come true, but Rocco’s did. He says they are both grateful Rocco gets to spend Christmas with his mom. Rocco meanwhile gets a cryptic text from someone who says it’s cold where they are. He sends them a snapshot of Lulu and Dante, and then his phone rings.
Rocco pulls Lulu aside and says she has a phone call. He hands her his phone, and it’s Charlotte. Lulu is overjoyed.
Jason and Danny arrive at Carly’s, and Michael and Joss are on their way out to make a snowman for Donna. Michael warns Jason that Mom has a visitor. He’s not pleased to find it is Brennan.
Carly is glad to see Jason, and Jack hopes his presence won’t be a problem. Carly says it’s not. Jack excuses himself to check in with the WSB. Jason warns Carly that Jack is using her. She knows he doesn’t trust Jack, and she loves him, but he’s not the boss of her.
Michael and Joss return and decide to play some cards. Danny and Jason step out for some fresh air.
On the patio, Danny misses his mom and wonders where she is now. Jason says she’s still with them, when they lose people they become a part of them. Danny looks up at a star and thinks it’s mom watching over them.
Back inside, Joss challenges Jack to a card game after beating Michael.
At Alexis’ place, she tells Ric she’s trying to hold her contempt for him to give their daughter a good holiday. He asks what her plan is. She wants him to help her decorate.
Molly arrives as they finish decorating, and she thanks her parents as this is the best gift she could have gotten.
Cody arrives at Maxie’s place for Christmas and gives James his favorite cowboy hat, placing the way too large hat on the boy’s head. Felicia thanks Sasha for convincing Cody to come, but she thinks he wanted to be with family. They both did.
Anna meanwhile teases her special surprise, which should be here soon.
Mac takes Cody aside and says it really means a lot that he came, and if he ever needs to talk, he’s here. Cody isn’t much of a talker but wouldn’t mind throwing some hatchets over beer sometime.
Sasha sits with Anna and asks her about Robert. Anna says he is the kindest man she knows, and Sasha is lucky to have him as a father. Sasha wishes he’d come home. Anna says he will, and when he returns, she’ll see he is worth the wait.
Anna announces her surprise is here, opens the door, and it’s Emma, the young woman from the plaza. She hugs everyone. Sasha tells Cody, “Glad you came? You don’t have to say I was right.” Cody wasn’t planning on it. They wish one another Merry Christmas.
Gio returns home, and Brook Lynn says he’s just in time for a family tradition, her favorite one. Ned plays “Oh Come All Ye Faithful” on his guitar and sings with Chase as Gio plays his violin.
TJ arrives in Rice Plaza, telling his mom that Isaiah offered to cover his shift. Laura then presides over the tree lighting as everyone gathers.
Lulu speaks with Charlotte on the phone, who cries she has been praying for her mom to wake up for so long. Lulu asks where she is, as she’ll come and get her. Charlotte says she can’t tell her, and she’s not even supposed to be calling or texting anyone. Lulu begs her to tell her where she is as she must see her. Charlotte provides her with her location, and Lulu says she won’t tell anyone and that she’ll be there soon. Lulu hangs up and tells Rocco she knows where his sister is but is going alone. She promised Charlotte she wouldn’t tell anyone, and can’t risk losing her. She asks Rocco to keep this between them. Rocco says he will for Charlotte’s sake. She promises to make this family whole and rushes off.
On the next General Hospital, Brook Lynn asks Chase if he’s saying he wants to stop trying. Lucas tells Ava he made things a whole lot worse. Willow tells someone, “You have no right to judge me.” Michael thinks, “Maybe I should just let her go.” Jason tells Carly that he still doesn’t trust Jack. Jack calls someone and says, “You know what to do.” Kristina tells her dad, “I just hope I’m up for the job.
