EastEnders has aired a scary incident for Denise Fox following Nish Panesar’s break from prison.
In tonight’s (December 19) episode, Denise kept on checking for sightings of Nish in Walford. At the moment, no one but his grandson Nugget knows of his whereabouts.
Denise has been on edge ever since Nish escaped from jail. He was behind bars for the murder of Keanu Taylor, to which he plead guilty despite having nothing to do with it.
During last Christmas’s murder mystery, it was actually Linda Carter who killed Keanu to defend Sharon Watts, with the remaining four of the Six — that is, Denise, Stacey Slater, Kathy Cotton, and Nish’s ex-wife Suki Panesar — also implicated in the cover-up.
In new scenes, Nish’s son Ravi Gulati was worried about his daughter Avani’s safety with Nish on the loose. Fed up with the online abuse she was receiving about her grandad’s actions, Avani posted on social media, noting her skepticism about Nish being in Walford.
Nish’s granddaughter then confided in Denise, asking her if she could help out at the salon after school. Denise agreed reluctantly and as the two were closing the shop, two masked men broke in and threatened them.
“Nish Panesar sent us,” one of them said, then adding to Avani in an ominous tone: “Mr Panesar has seen your post, and he really ain’t happy about it.”
Looking closely at the assailant, Avani recognised a boy called Aidan and called him and his mate out on their careless prank.
As the two lads hurried out in stitches, Denise was left in a state of panic. Will she be able to keep it together with Nish out of prison?
You can check out what happens next in an early streaming release of tomorrow’s (December 20) episode on BBC iPlayer.
